Day 21 ~ The End

We have reached the end of our journey.  We are thankful for our friends that prayed for us.  The trip could not have been more perfect.  We are thankful to our Lord for His protections and blessings on this entire adventure.

The Drury was a great way to end our hotel run. We had a great, filling breakfast and then went on our way.  Seven and a half hours it took to get from Columbus, Ohio, through West Virginia, to home.  Two rest stops and lots of deer sightings on the side of the highway.

The photos are not as exciting for this post, but I did get a few.

Our trip included:

* 21 days

* 16 different lodging places (which meant this dad packed and unpacked all our junk 16 times!)

* 6,014 miles (all of which he drove.... well I drove 5 miles down the mountain after dropping the boys off at the top for a hike)

* license plate spottings... we got 49 states (not Rhode Island island or Washington DC), as well as: Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, Manitoba, Citizen Potawatami Nation, Cherokee Nation, France!, and US government.

We had beautiful weather 95% of the time.  We did encounter some rain, but it never interfered with our plans..... it was usually overnight, in the early am before we got going, or while we were driving.  There were 21 days of scheduled things to do and we hit them all-- no hiccups or delays!  No car trouble, no accidents, no medical emergencies.  For the most part everyone got along; it helps we already spend 24 hours a day together!

That said, it's SO nice to be home to sleep in our own beds!

Praise Good from whom ALL blessings flow...
